Saving energy is more important than ever - environmentally and financially
With energy prices doubling in the last two years, the average annual energy bill in Ireland has increased from €2,000 to €4,300! Here are 6 ecoconscious energy saving tips to reduce your energy bill. (All savings are for an “average” Irish home):
1. Switch supplier

5. Use night rate electricity
Run your dishwasher and washing machine on night rate electricity (50% cheaper). (Winter hours: 11pm to 8am, Summer: 12 midnight to 9am). This simple step can reduce your electricity bill by 7%. (Saving: €130/yr)
6. Manage your appliances
